PERSONALITY

[will be updated later]

Bullet; Green[Kind] Usually a side to her only shown to close friends, she can actually be quite the nice cat once you get to know her.  Though she doesn't often show it, she does think of others in a good light sometimes, but you really have to dig deep to find her heart of gold.

Bullet; Green[Understanding] Mostly due to her mother's deafness, she has a lot of patience for cats that seem to be having trouble, beit emotionally or physically.  Unless, anyway, you have angered her in some way.  Then she'd love it if you drowned in a puddle of mud.

Bullet; Green[Loyal] She has a sworn duty, especially now as a deputy, to stay loyal to Thunderclan above all else, and to lead it as best she can, and has even, at that, become somewhat of a figure of emotional support for Puddlestar at that.  She may not show it, but she does care deeply about her clan, though slips of tongue may lead others to think otherwise.

Bullet; Yellow[Flirtatious] She was trained by her father to flirt with others after she initially expressed interest, so now, she'll try to put the moves on any tom or she-cat she finds attractive, sometimes in sillier ways than she initially thinks

Bullet; Yellow[Ambitious] She has quite a lot of ambition, having, since she was a kit, always been aiming for that leader's den.  It was the only reason she tried being a 'good little apprentice' and is the main reason she tries to act somewhat decent around cats of power, in her clan, anyway.  It's uncertain whether the ambition could turn dangerous or not at this point.

Bullet; Red[Self-Obsessed] She loves herself.  To some this would be a good thing.  I mean, loving yourself is important, right?  Jaygaze takes it way too close to home, and believes she's the most important cat to ever exist in the clans.  "The party don't start til I walk in" is a massive understatement.

Bullet; Red[Cocky] She's way too confident in herself, and in a fight, she has the habit of berating the cat she's facing verbally, trying to push every button possible, believing herself to be invincible.  Spoilers:  She's vincible.

Bullet; Red[Sly] This overconfident feline is sly to a maximum, being able to manipulate others.  While to some, this is a good asset, her attitude could probably case her, and in extension, her clan, much more trouble than needed.

HISTORY

[Prologue]
Pantherpaw was a loner of an apprentice, born to the sarcastic Sungaze, and the quick-tempered Dustbreeze, two senior warriors who were relatively well-respected.  Sungaze had a simple birth, but only bore one kit in the end, and spoiled the young tom as much as she could.  This, combined with the attitudes of her parents, and the fact they were both senior warriors, gave the tom an overconfident attitude, one that he carried onto apprenticeship.  Several moons later, the young cat showed promise, but he wasn't popular with his peers.  He'd often gloat, and treat them badly, so naturally, they'd badmouth him back, staying away, leaving the tom all alone.  A couple moons later, however, a duo of siblings became apprentices.  Birchpaw was an even more foul-natured tom, who was obsessed with strength and use, and his sister, Frostpaw, was the cat he seemed to dislike the most, for she was deaf.  No cat really knew how to communicate with her, as none had dealt with a deaf cat before, but the little she-cat was a kind, sweet soul, often bringing prey to the other apprentices and always wearing a smile.  The fact that she acted nice, despite what the others seemed to do, struck Pantherpaw, as in whispers, she was teased, and it was rumored she'd be forced to be a medicine cat, thanks to her disability.  Even her mentor, Starlingfang, had all but given up on her.  And this is when Pantherpaw took things into his own paws.  He became the she-cat's mentor, and developed a method to communicate with deaf cats, and taught her how to fight himself, breaking the barrier that was plaguing her.  He'd even insisted on putting off his warrior ceremony to help her.  This all caused Birchpaw, who couldn't see a bit of good in his actions, to fight with Pantherpaw often, even getting into a few violent tussles at times.  Eventually, upon both of their warrior ceremonies, Panthersnarl and Frostbreeze's friendship blossomed into love, and before any cat knew it, the beautiful white she-cat had kits on the way.

[Kit]

On a rather bright dawn of greenleaf, the peaceful morning was rudely interrupted by the mewls of kits.  Jaykit was born alongside her siblings, Jetkit, Whitekit, and Splatterkit, and as soon as she could open her eyes and walk, she was seemingly inseparable from her father.  She quickly began to take after the tom, entitlement and all.  Jetkit seemed to be rather annoyed with his sister, as did Whitekit and Splatterkit, but the latter two quickly gave up, just accepting their sister's behavior as the norm.  Panthersnarl taught Jaykit and her siblings everything he knew about communicating with the deaf, which proved useful to give the kits something to do in the meantime before becoming apprentices, which proved useful, especially when they began to understand their mother's own lessons, which funnily enough, were the ones about fighting.  She'd always been a phenomenal fighter, after all, and didn't see a point in waiting to show them.  Jaykit soon became quite the prankster, and dragged her little sister into the pranks often, and the louder that Jaykit became, the bolder she got, one thing was for certain.  Whoever would mentor the little she-kit would be completely screwed.

[Apprentice]
The cat who was the unlucky one?  A new warrior named Sneezewhisker, known for being timid, thoughtful, and most of all, submissive.  None knew what Nettlestar was thinking when making this choice, as it was a terrible idea on the surface.  Jaypaw's siblings got great mentors as well, Jetpaw actually gaining her own mentor's mentor, Quailflight.  Often times, Quailflight would tag along, and he essentially became a mentor to both cats, as Sneezewhisker's nerves got to him too much.  Jaypaw would often bicker with the elder gray tabby, and her brother as well, thinking she knew enough already, being rather naive, and even more overconfident than before.  Soon, a lead was discovered, something that would surely make her a warrior before the rest of her siblings.  A den of foxes was found outside camp, and rather close, at that.  A patrol of warriors were sent out to drive the foxes away, but Jaypaw had left before them, and went to face the foxes on her own.  She was nearly shredded to death, or, would have been, if it wasn't for the patrol leader, Quailflight's intervention.  This, rather than make her a warrior faster, delayed her ceremony until further notice.  The she-cat ,who was absolutely furious, demanded to Sneezewhisker that he make her a warrior anyway.  The gray splattered tom, however, had had enough, at last, snapping.  He became much harsher on the apprentice, and Jaypaw, for once, shut up, especially after she watched her sibling's warrior ceremonies, knowing she'd not be able to join them.  After several moons of being absolutely silent, Panthersnarl's frustration reached it's peak as he had a long talk with the leader and his daughter's mentor.  He managed to convince the two to give Jaypaw her warrior ceremony, and finally, the day arrived, Panthersnarl's chest puffed up proudly.  The black tom was smug for moons at what he'd done for his princess, after all.

[Warrior]

Four moons late, Jaygaze finally became a warrior, and immediately after her vigil was over, her mouth was back.  It was clear that she hadn't learned a thing from her endeavor of extra apprenticeship, much to Nettlestar's dismay and Sneezewhisker's annoyance.  She acted as if she was the leader of the clan often, and even still getting into all sorts of trouble.  Hoping an apprentice would teach her patience, she was given the albino tomcat by the name of Milkpaw as an apprentice.  Due to his sight problems, Jaygaze took pity on the tom, but was very harsh on him, having trouble learning to work with his problems.  Despite this, he grew to be a very promising warrior, though Jaygaze wouldn't admit it.  The dark she-cat's sights, however, were placed on the young white-and-gray tom who was the child of Nettlestar, Puddlepaw.  He showed much promise, and she'd honestly wished that he was her apprentice instead of Milkpaw.  Nonetheless, Milkpaw earned his name, Milkwing, without much time passing.  Jaygaze honestly was pretty proud of herself (And Milkwing, albeit quietly).  As more time passed on, her boasts of skill were now backed up, and she was one of the best fighters in the clan, and soon after Nettlestar and their deputy, Gravelfoot's death, Puddlestar surprised her, naming her the new deputy.  She gladly took the position, though whispers could be heard from the now elder, Quailflight, and her old mentor, that surely her having a position of power would spell later doom for the clan.

[Deputy]

Jaygaze's deputyship was a smooth one, for the most part.  Apart from gloating to the other, older warriors about their place under her, she did have a good mind when it came to tactics; and one thing she wanted more than anything was to get Sunningrocks back.  The dark she-cat often would slyly bicker with other clans on the border, and it was glaring what her main problem ended up being;  she didn't understand loss, not much.  None in her family had died, ever, and she always got what she wanted, so what was to sway her from her current mindset?  More than that, it was revealed Frostbreeze was pregnant with a second litter of kits, which overjoyed all of her siblings, and especially her.  Jaygaze became an  advisor to the young leader who lacked confidence, always encouraging him that he would strike fear into the hearts of the other clans, and would be one of the best leaders Thunderclan had ever known.  However, once the rain started, everything seemed to spiral downward.  Many cats drowned, from all clans, and even one of the Fivetrees fell, however, she stayed strong for the good of her clan.  Her hopes, however, soon drowned like the rain had done to everything else.  Her new apprentice, young Sparrowpaw, was found dead in the river, and this devestated her, though she wouldn't show it.  In a fit of frustration, wanting to take out her anger at something, she advised Puddlestar to host a battle to get back Sunningrocks.  He at first was weary, but after Jaygaze and Fallenstrike had a scuffle on the border, leaving her with scars, it was certain that the battle would take place.  It was a fierce, bloody battle, and Dovefall, the medicine cat, and Jaygaze's own brother, Jetsun, were killed.  This was the beginning of Jaygaze's slow descent into a form of madness, but that was only multiplied as Puddlestar had run off, and for days, did not return.  Jaygaze, after seven sunrises of waiting, realized one thing.  If Thunderclan were to survive, they couldn't sit waiting for Puddlestar forever.  Now?  It was her turn to lead this place.

[Leader]
Jaystar's leadership begun rather rocky, thanks to her own reputation through her clan, but her loyalty to her clan, and wish for their power to grow stays strong as ever.

RP SAMPLE

[Via Kestrelfeather's Application]
The greenleaf wind blew through the forest, soon brushing through a brown-and-white tom's pelt.  He pricked his ears, tasting prey in the air.  Sweet, some prey!  Today's sure been slow.  Dropping into a hunting crouch, he crept towards the scent, soon spotting a mouse.  Licking his lips slightly, he slowly unsheathed his claws, squinting a bit, and, in a quick movement, he pounced, snapping the small creatures neck.  Kestrelfeather's lips curled up in a smile, standing up straight.  "Aw yeah, great catch!"  He shouted, but, he realized that was a mistake.  He heard a few birds overhead fly away, as well as cursing from a cat not too far away.  He'd surely scared away some poor soul's catch.  Hearing paws approach, he grabbed the mouse and fled, desperate not to get into trouble.
